My Professional Objective

So I just started reading a book, The Unwritten Rules of the Highly Effective Job Search. So far pretty good, though it's one of those thing that when you read your like oh duh but you wouldn't have thought of it before.

The second chapter introduced the Professional Objective, so I figured I would develop mine here. First I'll define the phrase. It is what kind of work you want to do, either a particular job title or group of related jobs.

So first of all I think of my past work with sound systems and I think of a conversation I had yesterday with a recruiter. After seeing my resume she notice all my programming background, and was thinking if there was anything she had that was more programming related rather than hardware. So this leaves two possibilities sound engineering and programming.

So I have sorta decided that I want to hold off on audio related jobs and find something well paying then work my way into the audio industry slowly. So I don't know if this really is the wisest idea or not.

I need a narrower term that programming because most of what I have done is massive amounts of calculations using matrices and raw computer power. So how is MASSIVE COMPUTING USING COMPUTERS....

Here is the really issue... I don't wear the nerdy glasses for the progamming field. And I don't have enough tatoos or hair to do sound...
